Welcome
Located on St. Croix, the largest of the three U.S. Virgin Islands, Barnes & D’Amour is a litigation practice with strong emphasis on insurance defense. Our attorneys have over 45 years of combined experience practicing in insurance defense. We also regularly litigate other types of cases, including in the fields of product liability, admiralty and maritime, toxic tort, commercial and construction litigation, and employment law.
We have a broad-based practice in federal, territorial, and appellate courts, and extensive experience in mediation and arbitration. In addition to the U.S. Virgin Islands, our attorneys are also admitted to practice in California, Texas, Arizona and Washington, D.C.
